Gyöngy Gora | May 8, 2025

As the European Accessibility Act (EAA) enforcement date of June 28, 2025 rapidly approaches, companies across the EU must begin aligning their digital products and services with accessibility standards.
As long-time advocates for web accessibility, recognized by the 2022 Best Accessible DevPortal award, we’re happy to contribute to the community by sharing our free Accessibility Audit and Roadmap FigJam Template. This resource is designed to support comprehensive accessibility reviews, from evaluating design and visual elements to covering all key accessibility areas.
There are many valuable tools and practices available for each part of the journey toward accessibility compliance, from testing and documentation to issue tracking and remediation. This guide is designed to work alongside various tools and methods. Its main purpose is to help you get started and keep a clear view of the bigger picture.
Our template offers step-by-step guidance, helping teams structure their accessibility work from a high-level view. The visual, organized format supports planning, empowering teams to move forward with clarity and explore specific areas further using their preferred tools (e.g. for testing) or methods (e.g. for prioritization, roadmap creation).
The template:
Provides a high-level overview of the potential path toward accessibility compliance.
Outlines different testing methods, including automated, manual, and user testing, and recommends some relevant tools and checklists for each.
Helps categorize and prioritize identified accessibility issues.
Supports the assignment of responsibilities and the creation of a clear, actionable roadmap.
Filled sample:
To show the template in action, we’ve created a filled sample too, which illustrates accessibility efforts applied to an imaginary website.

Accessibility is a journey, and every step counts. Whether you're just beginning your compliance efforts or refining an existing accessibility program, our free template offers a structured way to assess your current state and move forward with clarity regardless of the tools or methods you choose to use. By mapping out accessibility gaps, identifying barriers, and prioritizing actions, you can transform good intentions into meaningful progress.
