According to Crunchbase, Etsy took $97.2 million in venture capital investments. Those investors expect a return on their investment. And they deserve it; they bet on Etsy.

Is Etsy a sellout now? No way!

The Company started raising money in 2005, with the hope that they would have a liquidity event. And now that dream is being realized.

It might be more appropriate for those critics to say "congrats" and "thank you."
