In this week’s status report: design update on our documentation site, new use cases about web frameworks and static site generators, new GraphQL API reference, and other updates related to our documentation, UX, design, and development.

Documentation

Design

We have refreshed the design of our documentation to address feedback from users, our engineering team and awards juries and to better reflect our branding and match the designs of other platformOS sites. We are still working on the design of our GraphQL API reference, and some adjustments.

Content production

> Use cases about web frameworks and static site generators 

As many of you were asking us about how to use different frameworks (like Angular and React) or static site generators with platformOS, we wrote two use cases that explain the steps required to use any static site generator and show some examples (Angular 8 and Gatsby).

> New GraphQL API reference published 

We have now published our new and improved GraphQL API reference documentation. Thank you for your feedback during the test period. In the next phase, we are going to update the design to better match our branding. Our GraphQL documentation now consists of:

  • NEW Partner Portal - Module Marketplace: the default sort of modules are based on date and time, starting with the newest

  • IN REVIEW GraphQL formatted date

  • IN PROGRESS platformOS.com - Developers page

  • IN PROGRESS New property type upload which will deprecate custom images and custom attachments


Improvements, fixes

  • FIXED array_append will not crash when used on property with NULL value

  • FIXED When using {% log form %} inside default_payload and then in callback_actions its value will appear the same
