In a recent article in Forbes, Ron Hirson (@hirson) looks at Uber as a big data play.

"Since the service Uber has built is so convenient, and increasingly essential to my life, Uber knows where I live, where I work, where I eat, where I travel, where I stay/visit and when I do all these things."

Kind of cool, and it is kind of scary at the same time. That's a lot of personal data.

What happens if they get hacked? Remember in 2014, hackers stole 40 million credit card files from Target.

What if they sell my data, and that partner is careless with our information?

That's a lot of responsibility for a disruptive enterprise.
