Why the sharing economy is built for millennials

MillenIn a recent article in the Economic Times by Rajat Ghandi, CEO of Faircent.com, he described six reasons why the sharing economy was built for millennials.

1. Youth is sharing much more.

2. The focus is on sharing rather than ownership.

3. It's the way forward for businesses.

4. Startups are cashing in.

5. Sharing is caring.

6. It's here to stay.

Rajat said it best here:

"It is time that established brands develop their own peer-to-peer strategy in order to gain traction among Millennials. These are disruptive times where trends and opportunities of today are businesses of tomorrow."

And he's right and businesses need to consider what they're going to do about it. But, don't worry. There's plenty of resources like Near Me, Crowd Companies, Shareable and Collaborative Consumption.
