"Getting people to spend money online is easier than ever, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy for everyone. There are still plenty of consumers out there who aren’t comfy passing along financial information, no matter how secure the transactions get. One small slip, and you could turn them off of shopping with you for good." 

Here are Wise's 7 Tips:

  1. Updated design - new, clean designs perform better
  2. Excellent spelling and grammar - copy sells
  3. Active social media - customers will use social media to learn more about your company
  4. Social proof - testimonials, reviews, and endorsements are all important
  5. Payment options - customers want to choose how they pay
  6. Security seals - seals provide additional peace of mind
  7. Contact info - customers want to buy from real people they can talk to

  1. Shipping - make the shipping reasonable, fast, and easy to understand
  2. Cart - make the shopping cart experience clean and fast
  3. Guarantee - make the guarantee strong to reverse risk
  4. Monitor live chat - chat only works if someone is managing it
  5. Friendly navigation - make it easy for people to find what they want
